Not sure if you heard or not, but James has declared himself ‘King of the World’. Or at least that what I assume he’s thinking every time he does this move.
Month: April 2012
James was in a good mood after getting his diaper changed, which was a pleasant change from his usual post-diaper-change-grumpiness.
By now, you should be getting the idea that James is totally okay with Tummy Time. Indeed. And today, he decided to put on his glamour face. Somebody get this kid an agent.
James and Dennis
Got gas? Can’t sleep? If my recent experience with James means anything, I suggest you try sleeping on your tummy. Worked like a charm for this little fart machine.
Tummy Sleep
All modern teaching seems to say that newborns aren’t supposed to sleep on their belly. Apparently they forgot to tell James. After struggling, grunting, groaning and definitely not sleeping while laying on his back, I rolled him over onto his belly, and within seconds he fell into a deep sleep. Seems that the tummy sleep also helped release a bit of gas, which was probably the cause of the aforementioned grunting and groaning. Two tummy sessions today netted more than 6 hours of (well supervised) sleep. That ain’t bad.
