Tummy Time
James is getting stronger and stronger, holding his head up high during tummy time. I think he knows that the stronger he gets, the sooner he gets onto (sort of) real food.

Though he still hasn’t really figured out what it’s all about, James is now big and strong enough that we can put him into the Exersaucer. I think that it’s just a matter of time before he really starts bouncing around and playing with the toys.

A 4-Month Checkup Moment with James
Though James doesn’t turn 4 months old until tomorrow, yesterday was his checkup (and vaccination day). Another glowing report. He’s heavier (just a hair under 14 pounds) and longer (25″), and as healthy as a baby could be. While we were waiting for the doctor, he was also enjoying himself in the examining room.

Lunchtime Daycare Visit
We made a quick stop to visit James over our lunch break today. He seemed happy to see us.

Downer Classic
On Saturday afternoon, we took James out to his first bike race. Not sure that we knew what was going on, but he seemed to enjoy the noise and activity. The youngest age group for the races is 3, so it’ll be a few more years until he can pedal his way to victory.
