FAAWIS Picnic Photos
Yesterday we took in the annual FAAWIS picnic. James seemed to love the music, games and food. I think we can officially say that his first word and current favorite thing in life is “ball”. He did his longest ever walk, twice, to retrieve a faraway volleyball. Excellent choice, young James. Oh yeah, his new favorite food is watermelon. Also a good choice.
Slow and steady wins the race, or so they say. James was walking slow and steady up the hill to the daycare parking lot yesterday. In addition to his obvious physical prowess, he’s started to notice things like shadows and sunbeams, which is fun too.

I saw this “Ice Cube Painting” hanging on the wall at daycare today.
Given how much James loves to eat ice cubes, it’s amazing they got him to paint with them.
