Boys’ Day Out

James and I gave Michele a break this afternoon and headed out into the city. We had a good time at the children’s museum and then picked up some groceries on the way home.

Outside in a Blue Shirt

Earlier this week, James spent a bit of time outside after dinner, stretching his legs.

Hockey Stick

James was very excited to get his hands on a hockey stick for the first time. I think he realizes the potential advantages of whacking things both far and near.

A Slow Motion Swing Moment with James

Yesterday, we took James to Gordon Park so that he could have a chance to splash in the water and enjoy the warm weather. As it turned out, the swings were the biggest hit of the day. Watch the video and see if you can spot the happy kid.

Young Boys Eating Watermelon

These photos are from the first day of our vacation at the cottage. James and Kyle were just getting to know each other. Kyle was willing to share his watermelon with James, but our little Wisconsinite wasn’t too sure what to think of the gesture. Ultimately, they both seemed happy enough with their sweet, watery snack.

A Tree for James

This spring, Mom and Dad planted a tree for James. When we were vacationing in Athens, we got to visit it. For now, James is taller than the tree.
