Not Bad for an Old Guy

I’ve completed two triathlons this month. I started training for them in January, largely as a way to motivate myself to be fitter, with the long term hope of being able to defend myself from James’s ever strengthening surprise attacks. I found a great coach who helped me up my game with short but frequent workouts. I celebrated my 40th birthday with my first ever road triathlon, as yesterday raced in my second Xterra off-road tri. Not something that I ever would have envisioned myself doing, but I seem to enjoy them … And the fitness that comes along with the training. Decent results do seem to help with motivation too.

Bike Races

We’ve been lucky to have the Tour of America’s Dairyland bike series visit us again this year. James and I have watched two races so far. James sure gets excited to see the pros racing by at 30+ mph.

New Classroom

James graduated to the next classroom for 3s and 4s. Clearly, one of his favorite features of the new classroom is this old, odd computer. He runs straight to it each morning.

One More Month

I have no idea how there is still room to grow in there, but our little guy still has another month to go. Doesn’t Michele look great?

Baby Sprinkle

The Racadio family put on a great party for Michele, Mae and the babies on the way.  Thanks to all who helped out, participated and gave such generous gifts.
