This borrowed sheep chair that vibrates and plays music can keep James mildly amused for a few minutes at a time, occasionally longer. Don’t you love the cute little plaid elephant outfit? It’s a keeper, for sure, which is good, because he’s definitely got some room to grow into it.

A Kicking Moment with James
These little feet never seem to stop moving.
A little video for all of the grandmothers, mothers, aunts and titas out there.
Taking a break from feeding, James decided to look around, checking out his surroundings.
No question, James is growing and getting bigger from toe to head.
A Sneezing Moment with James
Everybody loves a good sneeze (or two). James is no exception.
5 Weeks with James
We’ve now spent 5 weeks with James. 5 very interesting weeks. We’ve been through pretty much every emotion imaginable. No surprise, I’ve also taken an almost unimaginable number of photos, many of which haven’t seen the light of day. Until now. This “video” is comprised of the many (MANY!) photos that I’ve taken since James was born. Note that for maximum viewing pleasure, you may want to watch this full screen and/or increase the video quality.
Obviously we’ve got a long way to go until James can actually speak … but in the last day or two, he’s certainly found his vocal chords, and is getting louder and louder with his squeaks, squawks, chirps and growls.
This short video shows that some of the expressions in the photos from this morning weren’t staged – they were the real deal.
James was in a good mood after getting his diaper changed, which was a pleasant change from his usual post-diaper-change-grumpiness.
