In honor of the NHL lockout being over, James wore his Ottawa Senators shirt today. Thanks Mark and Angeline!

Now that we’ve got a bit of fresh snow, we were able to test out the new sled – works like a charm. James seemed to enjoy his first (very brief) sled ride around our tiny back yard.

A cute shot of James and his momma just hanging out on the couch. In the last few weeks, he’s become a little more willing to sit on our laps … or at least climb all over us while we’re sitting. He’s still the busiest of busy bodies, and always has to be fidgeting with something.

James seems to know when to flash his smile. Before long, I expect that there will be a few more teeth in there, but for now he’s still only got two of them.

In late November, we did a photo shoot with James and Frank, with the goal being to get a decent photo for our 2012 Christmas card. It worked, though sadly for Frank, our puppy got Photoshopped out of the final version of the photo. Now that most of the cards *should* have arrived at their final destinations around the world, we figure that it’s time to show them online. Hope you like the cheesy sweater and fireplace theme.

James was having fun crawling around the floor and playing with whatever he could get his hands on – camera parts included.

James have moved beyond his army crawl into full on crawling. He’s wasted no time in learning how to pull himself up onto his knees and even to his feet (no photos yet) to check out the world from a higher vantage point. He’s strong, though a tad wobbly.

James seemed to enjoy his first Thanksgiving – the food of course, but also hanging out with his Titas, both in person and through our iPad.

About a week ago, James had his first tooth officially arrive, followed by a second a day later. All in all, the start of the teething process hasn’t been too rough on him (or us) so we’ll hope that it’s a sign of good things to come.
