James made his first trip to Lola Elma’s for Easter, where there were lots of hands to help coax him to sleep.

Yesterday was a beautiful and sunny day, so we put on some warm clothes and took the family out for a walk.

I’ve been waiting for this for quite a while. We had our first family outing to the dog park. Frank got to run in the mud and be a dog … Michele got to leave the house for a bit and stretch her legs … and I finally got to test out the Baby Bjorn to carry our precious cargo. A successful outing.

We haven’t had a lot of road trips yet, but, so far each road trip has ended with James, asleep, in his car seat, on our dining room table. Here’s the latest installment.

Time continues to fly – we’re almost at St Patrick’s Day with our little Irish Canadian Filipino American baby boy James. Not sure if he’ll be wearing green tomorrow or not. He tends to wear a few different outfits during the day, so I suppose there is a chance. The day started out a little earlier than would be ideal, but things turned around. We even made it out for our first family walk, taking in some of Milwaukee’s beauty, along the shores of Lake Michigan.

Beautiful day outside, so we took James down to the lake for some outdoor sleepy time. It was a success.
