Seems that we like to have breakfast (or brunch). James isn’t eating with us yet, but he seems to enjoy the scenery.

I stopped in to see James on my lunch break. He was enjoying looking at his hands and swinging his arms around. The joys of being three and a half months old!

James and Michele joined Lola Elma at the park for a picnic. Looks like some people were more excited than others to have their picture taken.

Matt and Meg had us over for a great lunch in their beautiful back yard. The dogs had fun, and James really seemed to enjoy the outdoors. If only we had a bit of shade at home, he could spend a bit more time outside (sorry about the pale skin buddy).

James made it through his first day at day care in flying colors. We left him there this morning with a smile on his face, and picked him up this afternoon with an even bigger smile. Not surprisingly, the staff are already falling in love with our happy guy.

James was baptized a little over a week ago, and we celebrated by having family visit from far and near. It was great to see everybody, but the visiting did cut into our website time a bit. Hopefully we can be forgiven for that. James did well during the baptism, only making a minor (but understandable) screech when he was dipped into the holy water, fully naked. We’re proud of our little guy for doing so well, and assume that it will be the first and only time that he is at church, sans clothes.

We managed to sneak out for a quick vacation to Colorado. It was a great trip, and James showed us that he’s a natural at the travel thing. No problems on the plane, and lots of smiles for everybody he met along the way. Here are a few shots from the road.

A few days ago, we managed to get out for a family walk. A small victory.
