James has developed an adorable and surprisingly authentic Filipino mispronunciation of one of his favorite pre-bedtime activities, the fillow pight (pillow fight). He’s currently immune to our attempts to correct him.
He’s also a huge fan of the Netflix series called Beggie (Veggie) Tales. He can sing the theme song, but mispronounces Veggie every time.

Merry Christmas 2014! James is starting to get the hang of this Christmas thing on the third go-round. I’m guessing that he’ll be an expert … and won’t leave and gifts un-opened under the tree in 2015!
A new era has begun. James has begun wearing underwear, at least part time for now. Plenty of accidents in his first weekend, but plenty of enthusiasm too. Who doesn’t want to look AND feel like a superhero? Way to go James!
James brought this home from daycare – he was pretty proud of the painting, telling us that it was a turkey, and naming all of the colors several times. He’s definitely left his share of fingerprints around the house … and I know we’ll miss them when they turn into big fingerprints.
