James really liked pushing the elevator buttons at our hotel. Fortunately he was just tall enough to push the up button as well as the 3 for our floor. Remarkably, he seemed to always know when to push up vs. down, and 1 vs 3. Smart little kid.
No photo or video evidence, but he also loved running off of the elevator and going full speed to our room and shouting “My room!”.
Like good tourists, we headed to Fisherman’s Wharf to check out the views of the bridge, the prison and the noisy animals. Check, check and check – we saw them all. James had a blast.
Our James apparently isn’t the first James Flood to walk these streets.
Today we began our weeklong trip to Northern California. James defied all conventional wisdom and did the day with nothing more than a 10 minute nap during our taxi ride into the city. Seems that San Francisco agrees with him.
James and I put together a quick video to wish a happy birthday to Angela and Racquel. Sorry Aunt Mary, I didn’t get your name into the video, but we’re thinking about you too. Happy April 17th!
James was happy to see his mama when she got home from the gym.
James and I took advantage of some nice weather after school and headed over to the neighborhood schoolyard. He’s having as much fun climbing up the different types of stairs and faux rocks as he is sliding down the slides. He also likes running to and standing on the various painted shapes that they have on the asphalt. Fortunately, for a split second or two he also posed and smiled for me.
We found a place that has a large play area and free food for kids on Sunday. Smart idea for them and good time for us.
