What a fantastic week we had in Italy. After a slightly bumpy start (and very long layover in Frankfurt, Germany) we spent our time working our way from Rome down to Sorrento with stops in Naples and Pompeii along the way. Add in some family time with Angela and Derek and it was a very memorable time.
Two weeks in Spain, spent mostly in Barcelona and San Sebastian with a quick stopover in Zaragoza. So much good food, warm weather and great memories.
Since arriving in the UK, we’ve heard over and over again that the Jurassic Coast is beautiful and worthy of a visit. After James completed a school project on fossils, we thought it would be the perfect time to rent a car and drive down the the coast to see the scenery and even look for some fossils.
We’ve had a fantastic time in the Swiss Alps – such a beautiful place, we hope to go back again (and again!)
We’re on our way to Switzerland for a ski adventure in the Alps, but have made an important stop in Amsterdam for a quick visit of the city and to see some family for an 80th birthday celebration.
A day before starting my new job, I thought it might be fun to take Luke out of pre-school and have a 1:1 trip to the London Zoo. We hadn’t been there before. It’s a bit of a pain to get to from Richmond, but during off-peak travel, it was manageable. It was quite fun to have time together for just the two of us – good memories.
We’ve done a few trips before, but none as big as this one. Three big stops in Southeast Asia over the Christmas and New Year period. Great memories.

We’ve successfully completed our mission to Disney World. Four days of fun and rugged luxury, rides, food, snacks and hopefully good memories that will last a lifetime.
We survived the jet lag, the heat and humidity and a multi-day house share with family. Great time with Racquel, Dustin and the rest of the gang in New Orleans.
