Flood Family Adventures

This spring, Mom and Dad planted a tree for James. When we were vacationing in Athens, we got to visit it. For now, James is taller than the tree.

These two shots were taken less than a second apart – that’s life with a (then) fifteen month old.

James and Kyle spent some time in the cooler. I’m guessing that this will be a recurring theme as they age.

Not sure why, but there’s something about this photo that makes me smile. Like any one-year-old, James experiences a lot of emotions in a day … I’m not too sure what this one was, but it’s one that we see often … perhaps somewhere between grumpy and frustrated, which is usually followed by a smile or a laugh.

If you look closely, you can see that he’s got a camera in his hands. Maybe he was grumpy because I interrupted his photo shoot – here’s one of the shots that he took:

We’re finally resurfacing after a week on vacation in the remote wilderness of Graham Lake … good to be back in the land of readily available Internet access. Here’s a shot of the Flood Family from Canada Day. Good looking bunch, don’t you think?
