Day One In the Books
James made it through his first day at day care in flying colors. We left him there this morning with a smile on his face, and picked him up this afternoon with an even bigger smile. Not surprisingly, the staff are already falling in love with our happy guy.
This borrowed sheep chair that vibrates and plays music can keep James mildly amused for a few minutes at a time, occasionally longer. Don’t you love the cute little plaid elephant outfit? It’s a keeper, for sure, which is good, because he’s definitely got some room to grow into it.

Our little guy seems to be getting more enjoyment out of his little ‘Activity Center’ than I ever would have imagined. He’s beginning to realize that he has hands, but hasn’t figured out that they can do things like touch or grab yet.

Everybody Loves James
James was the man of the hour after his baptism, and seemed to enjoy spending time with lots of family.

Newly Baptised
James was baptized a little over a week ago, and we celebrated by having family visit from far and near. It was great to see everybody, but the visiting did cut into our website time a bit. Hopefully we can be forgiven for that. James did well during the baptism, only making a minor (but understandable) screech when he was dipped into the holy water, fully naked. We’re proud of our little guy for doing so well, and assume that it will be the first and only time that he is at church, sans clothes.
